Crafted by Evasive Motorsports and featuring a healthy helping of Acura Genuine Accessories, the 2013 Acura ILX "Street Build" Concept was unveiled on the automaker’s stand today at the SEMA Show. The first factory-blessed Acura to make its appearance at this annual gathering in six years melds tasteful visual touches with a supercharged engine and upgraded chassis elements to yield a car with 4-door practicality but genuine enthusiast-grade performance.
To maximize motivation for the ILX "Street Build," Evasive bolstered its 2.4-liter engine with a CT Engineering Supercharger kit, gave it a Hondata FlashPro ECU tweak, and added a Greddy prototype SP Elite exhaust system, changes that collectively bump output from 201 to 250 horsepower. It then fitted a Tein Street Advance adjustable coil-over suspension and StopTech big brake kit along with 19-inch Volk alloy wheels and Pirelli PZero tires.
Exterior modifications for the ILX "Street Build" all came from the Acura Genuine Accessories catalog, and include front/side/rear underbody spoilers, side moldings and a rear decklid spoiler. Although largely unchanged the interior on this one-off does feature a CT Technologies short-shift kit and Acura Genuine Accessories illuminated door sills.
