Volkswagen Preps Country for New Diesels with 'Dieselution Tour'

To promote the scheduled 2008 return of diesel power to their dealers' showrooms---first in the Jetta, then the Touareg--- Volkswagen has launched a country-crossing exhibit aimed at educating drivers about the new "clean diesel" landscape. Tough new emissions standards put a temporary halt to new diesel car availability in the U.S., but cleaner diesel fuel, new engines and new emissions systems have many expecting a diesel renaissance. Unfortunately for some, VW's newest TDI technology won't accommodate biodiesel (derived from spent restaurant oil, for instance) in a ratio greater than five percent (known as B5).
