I got this 2008 EXT by accident, I was looking for a Toyota Tacoma and ran into this black beauty. At first I didn't think I could afford it, but it being 10 years old at the time helped. It needs 2more things for it to be in perfect condition and I'm almost there. I don't want to stop driving it, it's a statement wherever you go and when I am at the car wash I get compliments for it which I don't mind. I have a family of 5 and we fit perfectly, I'm a big guy, and I feel like I'm sitting in my couch when I drive it.

I have owned this SUV since new. It has been serviced and washed regularly. After warranty expired all transmission lines and coolant lines had to be replaced. Power Steering pump rusted out and had to be replaced. The car lacks rubber splash guards on the front wheel wells and as a result salt and debris are thrown about the engine compartment causing lots of corrosion. The wheels/rims had to be replaced twice under warranty by the factory because of pitting and corrosion. The third set (at my cost) are now terribly corroded. Has had three sets of brakes which included discs, pads and calipers because of corrosion. Today it failed a Government emissions test because of multiple emissions part failures that will be costly to fix before it can be licensed for another year.

Cant go wrong with the Cadillac EXT. I have owned this car for about 3 years now. And I got it used with 131000 miles. Little things here and there has gone out. But nothing that will leave you looking bad to the general public. Engine strong, Trans good. No problem with 4x4 package. If you find this truck used that was taken care of from the previous owner. BUY IT! You will not be disappointed. Plus you got a CADDY! My truck is 12 years old with normal wear and tear. But I keep it clean. And men still say DANG THATS A NICE TRUCK! Need I say more...
