This is our third V Series Cadillac. Our first was an "06" STS-V, the second a "12" CTS-V Wagon, and currently a "16" CTS-V. We have found every one of these cars to be well built, very sorted, and most of all, fun to drive! We prefer to buy domestic, and found that these Cadillacs checked all the boxes for us. If you are looking for a powerful, well balanced, luxury performance sedan, the current CTS-V has a lot to offer.

Critical Review
Soon these car's will be heading to the junkyard as cash for clunkers. LOL.. Bad gas mileage. To many things go wrong with these car's. Transmission is not good. Resale value is terrible. Walk away from these car's.

As for my 'need for speed' crops up ever so often, this car provides all that I need. I'm an old Speed Jock of 87, and have had a lot of thrills over the years, I'm pleased at the performance this car delivers.
Styling, Perfomance, Quality.
I don't have two.
Great car, Everything about it is outstanding. If you're looking for great gas milage this is not the car for you. The one person who gave it one star probably never own one.
4 door Z06 sedans. Outstand power, ride, room ,comfort. 4 door? What else can you ask for? Most people never get rid of these, and those who do regret doing so.
ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE comfort, speed, 28mpg hwy. owned since 2016 an outstanding performer for sure
All the bells and whistles of a luxury car with .
Gas mileage is not great. Not like it matters!
Extremely comfortable for daily driving. An absolute terror when you want it to be. Car is extremely powerful and not for an average person. It can easily get away from you if you turn of all the safety features. If you don't, the car is very smart and can correct your mistakes.
power , looks , recaro and carbon fiber, beats 100
price point for younger driver is high
this car is awesome , chris who writes 10 reviews does not even own one , he was driving a 2005 gto ,, ctsv is not your dads car , it has all the power and looks to boot
Fast, fun and powerful with awesome styling
Cadillac infotainment system sucks
I've owned Corvette, Viper and the CTSV, 2019. I love this car, it flows so well in traffic and power is effortless. 0-100 so fast, with no effort, daily driving is a pleasure, change to sport mode and the shocks stiffen up, throttle response is modified. It's truly a fun beast of a car to drive, and the front end styling is awesome. Rear shocks replaced under warranty, that's it. Driven daily.
Fast! a blast to drive, $20K cheaper than a V;
One problem fixed, a bad O2 sensor.
Folks, when you read these I bought this 2016 CTS Vsport Premium in June of 2019 with 32,000 miles, and as of this writing (June10 2022) I the miles are up to about 46,500. Also, the Vsport was $20,000 cheaper. This car is pure joy to drive! Though not as powerful and well known as the V, the 420HP Turbo V6, with 430 lb-ft of torque, is more than my level of driving skills can manage, and it has almost all of the other features of the V. As a premium model, all the comfort features are there too. The chassis is the same as the V, with all the aluminum in the same places, the electronic limited slip differential, 8 speed auto/manual tranny, plus all of the driving and traction and ride controls, that can be turned off. I did that once and floored it, causing instant wheel spin at 45-50 mph, with the resulting fishtailing. I guess the car was scared, because a message popped up on the display saying in essence, "Don't do that above 30 MPH because it is too dangerous!". I had to laugh but. This car is a joy to drive in any setting road or track, but I never have to use all of its power, because only a slight goose of the throttle brings on an immediate downshift and off you go like a shot.
