Positive Review
Researched 6 different competing compact luxury SUVs. Kept coming back to the Buick Envision Avenir. It looks great, descent gas mileage, nice interior, has quiet tuning and rides well. All at a lower price than the German alternatives. Built on a Cadillac XT4 frame and suspension with enhancements. It also received the Cadillac 2.0 L Turbo engine and 9 speed transmission that always puts the engine in the sweet spot of its torque curve. Also uses regular gas. A pleasure to drive. Buick hit a home run with this car.
Critical Review
I recently downsized from a Buick Enclave to a new 2024 Envision ST, and as someone who has been buying cars for over 40 years, I have to say this has been the worst automobile purchase I have ever made. The Enclave was one of the best vehicles I've ever owned, but the Envision is a complete disappointment. It doesn’t even come close to the quality that Buick used to represent. Instead, this car feels cheaply made and poorly assembled—just a shadow of the Buicks I once knew. I’ve owned the Envision for less than five weeks, yet it’s already spent nearly three of those weeks in the shop. As of yesterday, the dealership informed me it would need to stay there for another one to two weeks. And keep in mind—this is a brand-new car. With issues like missing paint on the roof, a dead battery, and broken interior trim, the biggest flaw is the unbearable road noise. Around town, it’s manageable, but during an 11-hour road trip with my wife (a trip we’ve taken more than 50 times in various cars), the noise at highway speeds was overwhelming. It was so loud that we had to give up trying to have a conversation, and by the end of the trip, we were miserable. It’s a sharp-looking car, but that is where anything positive about it ends. In short, this car is terrible. I strongly advise against purchasing the 2024 Envision ST. Buick should be ashamed to release such a low-quality product.

Comfort, quiet and smooth ride
Not made for speed but quick enough
After driving the 2024 Buick Envision Avenir, I am genuinely impressed by how much luxury it delivers for the value. It manages to compete with high-end European brands while maintaining a much more approachable price point. My Experience with the Envision Avenir The standout feature for me is the technology. The massive 30-inch ultrawide display is stunning and makes the cabin feel incredibly futuristic. Having Google built-in means navigation and media are seamless, and the crisp resolution of the screen is a game-changer for daily driving. On the road, the smooth ride is exactly what I was looking for. It feels like you’re gliding over bumps rather than hitting them, thanks to the adaptive suspension. It’s also remarkably quiet inside, which adds to that premium "sanctuary" feel. Even though it's built for comfort, it still handles good; it feels planted and confident around corners, and the standard AWD gives me peace of mind in different weather conditions. Inside, the car feels well built. The quilted leather and massaging seats aren't just for show—they are genuinely comfortable for long hauls. Overall, it provides plenty of luxury for the value, offering high-end features that usually cost thousands more elsewhere.
Everything
Absolutely none
I gotta say I also really like the car it’s spacious it’s comfortable. It’s quiet. It’s got a lot of features for the money. It’s just overall just a wonderful package and we would definitely buy another one if I can pry this one out of my wife’s hands.
Nice exterior looks
Problems at 100 miles
Bought car less than 2 months ago, HUD stopped working around 140 miles. This was third ride in car, called dealer and got right in. HUD needs replacement but can't get part. I have been waiting a month now for the part. Glad i can at least drive the car, can't wait to see if total breakdown will take this long.
We just bought our 2025 Buick Envision and are so in love with this SUV. It rides like a Sedan, the Bose sound system is incredible, but most of all, the Driver's Assistance technology is in a class by itself. NO OTHER VEHICLE IN IT'S CLASS OR EVEN ABOUVE HAS A 30" WIDE DIGITAL DASHBOARD. Being able to put the map under the steering wheel, along with the Head's up display is an incredible game changer to being able to keep your eyes on the road, yet know where your next turn or freeway change needs to be without looking away. So happy!
I recently got behind the wheel of the 2024 Buick Envision Preferred, and I have to say—it’s exactly what I needed for North Dakota’s unpredictable weather. The first thing I noticed was how incredibly smooth and quiet the ride is. With the wind howling outside and the road covered in a fresh layer of snow, the all-wheel drive (AWD) kicked in effortlessly, giving me the confidence to drive without worrying about slipping or losing control best part yet its soooooo prettty
Great ride, quiet, comfortable, with all the latest and greatest technology. The adaptive cruise is amazing, the heads-up display includes navigation, the digital dashboard is really well done, and nice touches like heated steering wheel, I can even open my garage or arm my security with the build-in Alexa app. I was about to budget 60k for a cool high tech SUV but the Envision had everything I wanted to 20K less.

Car is perfect. Enough said Easy car to drive and has latest technology. Cameras everywhere. Car rides like a sedan and has great pickup.
