I traded in my 3 year old M235ix for a 2017 M4 Convertible. It is hard to describe the difference 100 hp makes, but I will try. It is wicked quick both in a straight line and around curves.The 19 inch wheels and tires grip the road like you are driving a go cart.The engine has tons of power and seems to be ready to accelerate from a stop or from 60 to 90 to pass someone on the xway.I have had the car for 4 months and have right at 4000 miles on it. The govt rates it 17-24 mpg 19 combined. After my 1200 mile break in check I have been getting 20 around town and 28 when on the highway. My actual combined driving in a 50/50 mix is just over 20 mpg og premium. The top works perfectly every time and to be honest with the neck warmers (something I would never have ordered but came standard) I have been able to drive w/ the top down all winter. I got my 1st BMW in 1980. I have all the safety options on this car from side cross traffic monitor, front accident avoidance and lane departure. They all work seamlessly.I spent 2 hours with the BMW genius when I got the car and went back 2 weeks later with a list of questions. They have a dedicated 1-800 number which I have also used several times to ask questions. The technology is massive and does take time to learn. The voice activation is remarkable, works better than any I have seen. This is s great car the best BMW I have ever owned.

BMW has one of the worst resale value vehicles. These car's also have to many things wrong. My car has been in the service department for electrical issues, to engine problems. Not a good car, I wouldn't recommend it. Not for that price tag!!

I’ve wanted a M4 for 5 years. I have had this chassis 3 times, all with a slightly larger i6 each time. The M4 Is the 3rd 4 series chassis i’ve owned and it is extremely different than the others in the best way possible. This car has a DCT transmissions similar to cars such as like ferraris, porsche and lamborghini. It has a carbon roof that is also found in those category’s of cars along with a twin turbo, quad exhaust bucket seats and weight reduction everywhere. The aggressive styling is the chef’s kiss, aggressive body lines and 666M wheels make the car feel special. Simple’s put this car is extremely over engineered in the best way possible! Maintenance is doable at home with proper equipment, labor is not extensive unless you plan to modify which this platform welcomes it kindly on the aftermarket. I put 5k maintenance and parts along with Carbon fiber genuine pieces to make it my own. in + it’s better looking and cheaper than the M3. Never selling this car. 6 month review 10/10

I bought a 2018 M4 convertible online--my first time purchasing before driving a car. The M4 is exactly as advertised. It is responsive and powerful when required but tame enough for a leisurely drive on a Sunday afternoon. Of course, it looks terrific in my driveway and on the move.

I can tell you now, I've had a 2015 and then a 2018 M4 Competition. I have moved to an electric BMW I4 but that 2018 M4 is my favorite all time car. I never had any issues. It looks and sounds good. The handling is perfect, especially in sport mode which I drive most of the time. I had mine tuned and it went from 444 to 549 HP for $800. Wow, did that M4 fly. I miss the car very much. The M4 as a used car is a great deal. Have fun.

I have owned many M's but this one is truly special. Not too big , not too small and perfect amount of H.P. Very reliable and looks much better than the new buck teeth model :)

My 2019 M4 has already 58,230 miles on it! I have not had any electrical or any other mechanical issues, just the normal oil change and break check ups. I replaced my tires but other than that, it has no issues! I just love it! Too bad that rocks and things on the road give small scratches, chips or dents. but overall all the electronics and the powerful engine can’t be beat.

Simply a beast! I have the Competition package on mine, there is nothing else you need. Excellence acceleration and braking. I love the way she handle. Really the ultimate driving machine.
