Mark Elias

Mark Elias is an author specializing in automotive topics that range from new car reviews to car care topics to motorsports and classic cars. His first cars were of the Matchbox variety and now take up an entire closet in his home (much to his wife’s chagrin). His career has seen him through years as a staff photographer for the Associated Press, a contract photographer for Bloomberg news, and a contributor to outlets like Automotive News, Autoweek, Car & Driver, and more. In his spare time, he attempts to play and build guitars. Admittedly, he is a better builder than player. He is proud of his affiliation with Kelley Blue Book.
