Gary Witzenburg

Award-winning automotive journalist Gary Witzenburg has been writing about automobiles, auto people, automotive technology and the auto industry for 33 years. A mechanical engineering graduate of Duke University, he is a former U.S. Navy officer, auto engineer, race driver and advanced technology vehicle development manager. His work has appeared in a wide variety of national magazines, and he has authored eight automotive books. He is currently President of the North American Car, Truck and Utility vehicle of the Year (NACTOY) Awards and a contributing editor to kbb.com.
