Allyson Harwood is a West Coast-based Senior Editor at Kelley Blue Book who is as passionate about cars as she is about finding a great deal. Writing for Kelley Blue Book is where those passions intersect. Allyson’s stories cover all types of vehicles, but she specializes in trucks. She focuses on 10 Best lists, Kelley Blue Book's annual awards programs, Deals of the Month, and expert reviews. Starting in the automotive industry straight out of college, she has evaluated and written about trucks, SUVs, and cars, from both the consumer and enthusiast perspectives. Allyson has previously written for Motor Trend, Truck Trend, and Four Wheeler Magazine, and is a North American Car, Utility and Truck of the Year Awards (NACTOY) juror. Allyson lives with her husband and two rescue cats, and spends her free time watching sports, reading, doing puzzles, and putting her feet in the sand.
