Positive Review
After rejecting a few Teslas due to numerous issues around wind/road-noise, squeaks, rattles, and poor quality control, the Audi is a night and day difference. It's super quiet, virtually no wind noise until you push triple-digit speeds. Road noise is well suppressed, barely noticeable. The chassis is over-engineered, to the point where it feels like you're driving a tank. No chassis flex, no rattles, no squeaks, no pops. Just peace and quiet. Which is super important with an EV, as there is no engine or exhaust noise to drown out those noises. Tech features? Depending on the trim, it's got it all. You've got everything from cooled seats to massaging seats (Prestige). I'm personally a fan of the HUD, multiple high-resolution displays (no lag), and driver-assist features. Performance is also more than acceptable. In particular, as you have that instant-torque of the EV motor. If you're looking for head-snapping 0-60 times to post on YouTube, this isn't the car. But if you want more practical acceleration when you need it, you'll still be pleasantly surprised. Especially passing and merging, where it seems to really open up. Negatives? The EPA range of 204 miles isn't great. However, the EPA must still have a grudge against VW, as this is the first vehicle where I get better than EPA, without even trying. Easily getting 210+ on the large 21" wheels. Whereas on a Tesla, I've seen 10-30% LESS than EPA rating. Which gets worse with their larger wheels. For my driving and daily use case, the range is a non-issue. It's more than enough for 99% of my driving. I think for most folks, it's a psychological thing that greats an artificial concern with range anxiety. If I need to take a trip, the charging networks are expanding every day and are all over the place. In either case, for my next Audi, the range must improve. Audi: Give us more use of the battery! Overall, Audi has built a very good vehicle, that's also a decent EV. Tesla built a very good EV, that's simply not a good vehicle. Don't get me wrong, I love both Tesla and Audi. But at the end of the day, the E-Tron meets a lot more of my requirements. It's basically an Audi Q8, but at the time of the writing, much cheaper. If you can get over the range number, you can't go wrong here.
Critical Review
As background, I've had multiple EVs starting with a Tesla Model S and before this Audi, a Jaguar iPace. I got rid of the iPace because of constant electronic glitches in the infotainment and climate system alongside multiple 12v battery failures. Stepping into the Audi reminded me why I liked Audi's historically. Well put together, nice seats, interior that looked nice except for the horrible piano black plastic everywhere. Driving was not as great as the iPace as the Audi was slower, but that wasn't a huge deal. After a year, I was starting to completely hate the Audi. It almost caused a severe accident when it decided mid u-turn to come to a hard, complete stop and not let me move. Very scary situation. When it happened the second time, I completely turned off pre-sense as that was what was triggering the issue. Then it would spontaneously reset the entertainment system - resetting to a guest profile - WHILE DRIVING. It would take minutes to reset during which there was no entertainment (not the worst thing in the world) but no A/C or other interior controls. On top of all this, it would constantly get confused about which profile to use - mine or my wife's. Regardless of the key that was used to unlock the door. Audi NEVER followed through on the promise of an OTA update. Even Jaguar had OTA updates! The dealer was a joke. My first service appointment report proudly told me that they had changed the oil filter and checked all oil levels which were PERFECT. My second service appointment report also told me they had changed the oil level and then added that the STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that I not wait so many miles before bringing it in again due the oil having been BLACK. Huh? My lease is up and I literally cannot wait to run away from this car as fast as I can. It's unsafe and Audi doesn't know how to properly service EVs so I'd be concerned once it reaches a certain life as Audi cannot be trusted to repair an EV.

I’ve had a lot of different vehicle types from various manufacturers. In total I’ve driven as my personal vehicle Volvo, Mitsubishi, Infiniti, Dodge, BMW, Mercedes, and VW. On occasion I drive my husband’s Toyota and Lexus. I bought this Audi about three years ago and absolutely love it. It’s hands down my favorite car I’ve ever driven. Some of that may be attributed to the EV aspect but much of it is the quality of the drive, interior and features. I made sure to purchase the level that had all the additional features which are worth it in my opinion. Yes, a longer battery range would be great but if you are in the market for an EV surely you know there aren’t a ton of options so it’s not exactly a con. I have taken several road trips and had zero issues. The availability of fast chargers is so great now that a quick stop at a gas station and 20-30 min later and you’re ready to go for another leg of the trip. It’s basically no longer than a normal pit stop and much cheaper. I most likely will never go back to driving a gas powered vehicle again. Any recalls my local dealership has taken care of for free and given me a free loaner for the duration, even as they were waiting for parts from overseas, which at one visit took up to a week. But they were great and very accommodating.

Technology and Comfort
Battery Life
Bought the very first model (2019) brand new. At first they had a few electrical issues with the car which they recalled. Including a faulty rear light. But since then its been very reliable and is just an amazing car. From comfort to an amazing sound system, this etron has been amazing. But yes the battery range is a bummer. Getting an at home charger, really helped with that. Still love it!
Comfort, sound system, drivability, speed
Range on paper; but no range anxiety.
Awesome sound system. Very fast and great acceleration. I blow the doors off all ICE engines and most Tesla’s (lots of me-too, wannabes who don’t know how to drive). Very comfortable.
The most amazing ride.. for an AWD! So quiet and comfortable that it is hard to believe you are driving an SUV with chops best in class for sure!
Impressive ride quality and very quiet.

This is a well engineered car with top quality throughout in both parts and build. Range fits into my usage and recharged primarily in my garage with a professionally installed 240volt/50amp circuit which makes all the difference in EV ownership.
A joy to drive!
The interior could be finished with better materil
This car is a joy to drive and to ride in as well. The range has been increased to 248 miles. It is extremely attractive both inside and outside.
