What changes on the 2021 Chevrolet Traverse?
The new look for the Traverse includes a redesigned front grille flanked by slender LED lighting elements. The front and rear fascia are redesigned with the turn signals integrated into daytime running lights. The rear taillamps are now also LED units.
The cabin updates extend to the seating, which includes new options for second- and third-row positions. Also available is a Dual SkyScape 2-panel sunroof with a new rear power shade. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility is also a new feature. Chevrolet also adds an 8-inch drive information display to the instrument cluster.
Safety- and driver-assist availability expanded

On the 2021 Traverse, Chevrolet expands Adaptive Cruise Control to include it as an option on 3LT, RS and Premier models. A rear-seat safety alert system is now standard on Premier and High Country trim levels.
The 2021 Chevrolet Traverse sees an expanded roster of standard safety systems including automatic emergency braking and front pedestrian braking on all models. Also included in the package are lane keep assist with lane departure warning, forward collision alert, automatic high beams, and a following distance indicator.
Traverse powertrain
The Traverse continues its current powertrain lineup. It offers a 310-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine and 9-speed transmission is standard. The Traverse comes with front-drive standard with all-wheel drive available.
