Hurry down and pick up that new Isuzu i-series pickup or Ascender SUV you’ve been eyeing, because the automaker has announced it will stop selling its two remaining models on January 31, 2009. The move doesn’t come as a surprise — Isuzu sold only 7,098 of its GM-derived vehicles last year — but it’s nonetheless momentous. The company has indicated that it will support current (and future) owners with the continuation of its parts and service business. Isuzu’s North American commercial truck and diesel engine business will also continue.
