Very comfortable, Good looking, handles well for a large car, glad I got the SH all wheel drive as it improves cornering substantially. Only negative is getting used to the tech package, but overall this car is an excellent value proposition. I would strongly recommend to a friend. Also like the safety features.

I was very excited for this refresh, but after driving it for a few months, it is disappointing. Once the newness wears off of the frilly digital cluster and new styling, you see this vehicle for what it really is: cheaply made junk. The automatic lift gate has malfunctioned 5 times since purchasing this vehicle over 3 months. It would beep and then just jerk and stop moving. Nothing would get it to open again except disconnecting the battery and trying again. The memory seating randomly reset several times which is annoying because the steering position is tied to the memory seating. I would take off out of my driveway and realize that something is not right and it turned out to be the seat and steering wheel out of position. All of the piano black trim is so cheap and tacky. It looks ok brand new but after living with it for a few months, you can see dust everywhere and fingerprints are all over it. The auto engine shut off is extremely annoying. In my toyota highlander, it only activates when you press the break really hard so in my usual driving it never activates. However, the auto engine feature in this car applies at ANY stop. This just ruins the lifetime of the starter\engine and of course the button to cut it off is in PIANO BLACK PLASTIC so it looks disgusting after a few days. Honda\Acura quality has really gone downhill and they are just banking on making people buy this for the flashy new looks and digital instrument cluster. The transmission is also horrible in this vehicle. It is constantly searching for the right gear at speeds under 55-60 mph. So many times I felt like the engine was misfiring, but in reality it was the poorly programmed transmission fishing for a gear.

Reliable, strong performance, comfortable, great value, stylish, superb options for price, practical, great daily driver
Quirky touch pad.
I purchased my 2023 MDX Type S in Performance Red Pearl for just under $43k all in with essentially 22k miles in January 2026. I compared it to similar aged vehicles in this price range and found them all lacking in package offerings. Vehicles in this class with similar options and mileage where significantly more expensive. I am incredibly pleased with the options, driving dynamics, build quality and look of the vehicle. While the touch pad is quirky, within a few days it is simple to master, even for a 61 year old. The use of actual buttons is a blessing. Touch pad Technology will break long before a vehicle will, glad to see that Acura/Honda still get this right.
Stylish and sporty look
Road noise, useless features, lacking comparable features
For a "luxury" SUV, it lacks several features on comparable Lexus, Audi and Infiniti (cooling seat, cameras). You need to pay for the advance package to get them which is much pricier. The interior is stylish but touchpad is annoying and never gets easier to use and the wireless charger doesn't work with iPhones.... My biggest complaint is the road noise, it is horrible for what is supposed to be a high end vehicle. It's loud and rides like it has 250K miles. And it not the tires, I've tried different manuf. models and spoken to mechanics and they say the same. Serious buyers remorse for me, will go back to QX60 for next vehicle.
My 25 brand new acura started making a loud knocking noise from front suspension when turning left and going over a bump at low speed. I went to dealership 3 times so far and they were not able to help and denied being to duplicate the noise even though they were able to do so 2nd time and tighten the tire rod. I called Acura Relations, they absolutely did nothing but wasting my time, as they are only doing their job to document. This was my 4th Acura and will be the last time I would buy their vehicle.
I purchased a 2023 Acura MDX Advanced in April 2023 expecting a premium ownership experience. While the vehicle has strong design, safety features, and overall drivability, my long-term experience has been mixed due to recurring quality and refinement issues. Over the course of ownership, I’ve had multiple service visits across two Acura dealerships for the following concerns: 1. Persistent cabin wind noise, later verified by the dealership and attributed to door molding issues, but not repaired 2. Wireless charging pad that intermittently disconnects and blinks, even after a replacement 3. Ventilated seats that technically operate but provide minimal real cooling 4. Mechanical noise when shifting from Park to Drive/Reverse (workaround suggested, not a fix) 5. Battery failure requiring replacement 6. Camera system distortion, resolved only after multiple visits 7. Intermittent brake warnings with no obstruction present Most of these concerns were ultimately documented as “functioning as designed” or “normal operation,” despite repeated visits and escalation. The vehicle has never left me stranded and remains drivable, but at this price point, I expected better refinement, consistency, and resolution — especially after extensive documentation and review by Acura corporate. Bottom line: The MDX Advanced offers great features and styling, but buyers should temper expectations around premium fit-and-finish and post-sale resolution. I would recommend thorough test drives (including highway noise) and realistic expectations for features like wireless charging and ventilated seats. Would I buy it again? If I were shopping again today, I would take more time to cross-shop alternatives in this segment. While the MDX Advanced offers strong features and design, my ownership experience showed that refinement and post-sale resolution didn’t fully match the premium price. It’s a good vehicle, but not one I would purchase again without hesitation.
Sad that they took out the SiriusXM button and make it all have to be programmed and you have to carry your cell phone in the car to get service for Sirius XM it's ridiculous
This car is not a car for an active driving experience. Very noticeable delay when pressing the accelerator. Transmission jumping, Jumpy suspension, Delay with the paddle shifters.

Love our MDX. Smooth, quiet, effortlessly powerful. Been trouble free for 39k miles. Compliments galore on its looks. Took a bit to get used to the touch pad, but works great. Was hoping the 2026 would have some updates making it worth while to update!🤷🏽♂️😊
Vehicle engine/transmission jerks while driving on flat grades. Dash and headliner is noisy/squeeks/rattling. Brakes squeal especially when backing up. Even with auto start off there is a considerable delay when pressing the accelerator to get out into traffic from a stop. I noticed lots of moisture getting into the storage area above the spare tire.
