Narrow year range (drag arrows to filter):
Available in three trims – Sport, Limited and Limited Jet – the 2012 Jeep Liberty enjoys a reduced MSRP ($26,960 plus destination) for 2012, which essentially throws in the transportation fee of $795 from the previous year. New color offerings – Mineral Gray, Canyon Brown Pearl, Rescue Green Pearl, True Blue Pearl and Black Forest Green Pearl – will imbue your new Liberty with either off-road machismo or patriotic fervor. Owners are reportedly athletic and, we hope, imaginative.
After a thorough restyling, the 2008 Jeep Liberty re-emerges with a more squared-off appearance and a host of appealing features. A new four-wheel-drive system, optional retractable fabric roof, redesigned suspension and available MyGIG multimedia infotainment system make the new Liberty a more appealing vehicle than the one it replaces.
Jeep's Liberty is the smallest body-on-frame SUV. Although it faces some stiff competition from the new Jeep Compass and Jeep Patriot, the Liberty can still best both vehicles in the areas of off-road capability and towing. The Liberty makes a good choice for true off-road enthusiasts who are looking for a low-priced compact SUV, but require a vehicle a bit more civilized and secure than the boyish Jeep Wrangler. Unfortunately for Liberty fans, it appears Jeep is not planning a long run for the little SUV. The diesel engine option and Renegade trim level have been eliminated, and there are no significant improvements or upgrades for 2007.
