About Isuzu Ascender

Have you been itching to get a new GMC Envoy or Chevrolet TrailBlazer, but you're waiting for some big event to ensure you get the most bang for your buck? We're going to let you in on a little secret: The deal you've been waiting for is at this very moment sitting at the Isuzu dealership. It's the 2008 Ascender, a carbon copy of the GMC and Chevrolet twins, with a nearly-identical price tag but with an additional two years added to the powertrain warranty (seven-years/75,000 miles vs. five-years/100,000 miles). The Ascender is not available with a V8 engine, but it has the same suspension, same interior features and same seating capacity as the GMC and Chevrolet offerings. How can you go wrong?

"Unfamiliar with Isuzu at the time, but needed a 7 seater SUV and the Ascender provided more options and a lower price than the Trailblazer, Yukon, Tahoe, Expedition, etc. Most reliable vehicle I've ever owned!"

Loved my Isuzu and really hated selling it.

I owned and sold this car
Reason: I didn't like the finance company holding the note (Santanders)

"Tx Atty General is investigating Santander for not giving customers their titles long after they had paid them off. I figured the dealer could deal with them, now I'm in a Nissan.. but I really did love my other suv. The design was great. To bad they don't make them any more."

"It turns on a dime unlike most SUVs. Very easy and comfortable to drive. Fantastic for towing and over rough ground. A work horse that has all the comfort of a luxury sedan. Also great bose stereo system."
