2015 Mini Paceman update revealed

Following on the heels of the 2015 Mini Countryman refresh that turned up in New York, a similarly tweaked 2015 Mini Paceman appeared on the stands in Beijing. Also remaining on the current-generation Mini platform, the Countryman's 2-door/4-seat cousin boasts a similar series of modest changes that impart a bit more visual and functional appeal.

Carrying on in Cooper/Cooper S/John Cooper Works configurations and front- or ALL4 all-wheel drive, the 2015 Paceman's subtle exterior enhancements center on a model-specific recasting of its grille insert/trim texturing, a redrawn "S" logo, LED fog/parking/driving lights and new, even lighter-weight alloy wheel designs. Jungle Green Metallic and Midnight Grey Metallic paints join the Paceman's existing color palette, as does a new Piano Black Exterior trim treatment.

Inside, the 2015 Paceman features new JCW-style anthracite-colored gauge faces and adds chrome embellishments on its ventilation controls. An extra helping of sound insulation also brings about a welcome reduction in cabin noise levels. The 2015 Mini Paceman family will arrive in showrooms this summer. Pricing will be announced closer to the actual on-sale date.
