Pros: "great reliability"

Cons: "poor gas mileage"

"Purchased this car new in Jan 1999. Have had it since then. This car has been the most reliable auto I have ever owned. It has the 5 liter v-8, auto with all wheel drive. Over the last 16 years the only repairs were. A. tranny repaired once ($400) -B. had the radiator replaced once, and have had the AC repaired once($400). THAT IS ALL (It now has 199,500 miles) . I have done tune ups, brake repair, fluid changes etc over the years. At this point it now has a rear main seal leak, and tranny fluid leak but not bad enough to require any fluid replacements between services (oil every 5000 miles and tranny every 30,000 miles. It is now used only as a second car or when we go to the high county for skiing in the winter and to the high country for cooler weather in the hot months. It has absolutely no value - I think trade in is only $200 or so."

"This SUV has been a great part of the family for many years. It has been very reliable and done everything that it has been asked to do. Never had any serious problems with the vehicle, just kept up with the routine maintenance."

Pros: "Smooth ride - fun to drive in the snow - AWD"

Cons: "Rust in the rear quarter panels"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"Truck was bought by me in 2004 - it had 40,000 mile on it at that time - I used it to pull my boat. Truck is very dependable - has remote start - key less entry - daytime running lights - very sharp - along with all the other options. Tires are fairly new. I am short - the 6 way power drivers seat has me sitting up high in the cab - which was one of the reason I picked this truck. The inside is leather and very clean - the outside body does have rust in the hind panels. This truck has been my Winter driving vehicle - it is AWD and rides smooth with the V8 engine. I also own a Subaru Forester and am just looking to downsize to the 1 vehicle now that I no longer own my boat."

Cons: "Poor mileage"

"This has been a good car for me. it has had only a couple of problems (one major - fuel pump); and I feel very safe driving the vehicle. I like being "up" higher than sedans. My biggest complaint is not getting good mileage."

Pros: "Solid ride, totally reliable, holds a ton of cargo"

Cons: "Gas mileage not great."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I LOVE this car! Bought it new in 1999, have driven it in all sorts of weather, on thousand-mile trips a dozen times. So reliable, so comfortable, so solid. Never let me down. Just now, things are starting to go.....just replaced a cracked radiator, and the sway bars' linkage is broken, so I'm (sadly) getting a new car."

Pros: "reliable for now"

Cons: "needs work"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 6

"The vehicle is great. I am looking to purchase 4WD, AWD this is RWD. I bought this when I lived in Florida but now I live in Pittsburgh Pa.Having trouble with the door lock not opening with key or remote. I think I can fix that. A friend told me my transmission feels like its slipping a little. The engine hood does not stay open on its own , I have to prop with a baseball bat."
