Lincoln MKT

About Lincoln MKT

Providing that the 2017 Lincoln MKT luxury SUV’s bulbous proportions, old-style Lincoln winged grille and unique rear styling aren’t turnoffs, you might actually find quite a bit to like in this 7-passenger crossover SUV. There’s plenty of room inside the MKT’s well-appointed cabin, although the 3rd-row seat can be a bit snug for adults. Under the hood Lincoln offers a choice of two V6 powertrains, one of which includes the lauded 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost engine. All-wheel drive is available and though not a serious threat to true off-road-capable SUVs like the Land Rover Discovery or Lexus GX, this big Lincoln compares well when stacked up against such competitors as the Acura MDX, Infiniti QX60 and Buick Enclave.

Pros: "Room, accelleration, comfort and mileage"

Cons: "I'd like larger stronger brakes, although safe."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"A great interstate cruiser, gets 21 to 25 mpg (speed dependent); very quiet and been totally reliable, one recall to reprogram steering. Easily carries 6 with luggage and great accelleration for merging and passing. Even tho its almost 5 years old, I'm keeping it a few more years."

Pros: "You won'y get more for 50% more cash!"

Cons: "Lincoln is nuts to not compare to J-35 Infinity."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Drives like a dream and has features and comforts way beyond the German and especially Japanese counterparts for alot less money. You'd be nuts to buy without a test drive of the MKT first."
