"I love my manual HOnda Fit Sport 2008..I call it a mini SUV. Can carry small trees vertically or an adult bicycle inside. Easy grocery loading. QUIck, efficient, cute. Fillups are cheap and infrequent. I love the remarkable flexibility in using the space. The heater heats up pretty quickly in the winter. Negatives: Original tires TERRIBLE for snow - but replaced by now!( You can't drive a 2007-8 due to dry rot). The pull loop for the rear left seat position latch broke after 6.5 yr ; I have to use an umbrella tip to unlatch it and fold the seat now. The gas pedal and the brake are close together so if you have a huge boot or galosh you can be unnerved by the gas roaring if you brake with your foot slightly off. They say "the brakes always win". After 60,000 miles I felt the driver seat became less comfortable. Be careful about things falling into the narrow crack by the console, next to the front seat tracks. (I fished something out of the track that was causing trouble; it was not easy). Maybe a strip of foam would be protective. Despite these issues, I love this car.. Driver seat comfort becoming an issue now. Not spacious in back so not for crowds long distance."
"The Fit is one of the best cars ever designed. The utility is unbelievable. Being a Honda the reliability, quality and gas mileage are top notch. I have owned lots of cars over the years and the Fit is a GREAT CAR!"
"Very reliable. Very inexpensive to own and operate. Noisy at highway speeds. Excels at fulfilling the purpose of providing basic transportation. The car is exactly what it strives to be, nothing more and nothing less. It's not a fun car, it's not an exciting car, but it is economical and reliable. When purchased, I opted for the base model. The sport version would've been a better choice, given the additional benefits of cruise control and an MP3 jack. All in all, it fit my need and I'm fully satisfied with it, but I wouldn't buy another."
