"I had this car for 2.5 years. It had 160000 miles on it when I got it. It just died with 260000 miles on it. The car was a very reliable, dependable car and never once left me stranded. I had to put a new muffler on it and a new brakeline due to rust issues. I also put in an alternator.I would recommend this vehicle and think they are pretty good cars for the money. My son- in -law just bought a 1989 per my recommendation (mine was a 1988)."
"Mine is a '91 and has never given me any real problems. It's big enough to make me feel safe, and roomy enough to not feel confined. The only problems I've had is that my Odometer stopped working after 160,000 miles, and my speedometer stopped working two years ago. It would spring back and forth from 0 to 90 with me still in park, and then after two months of that, just stopped. Transmission was rebuilt in it about 4 years ago, but other than that I've never had to fix anything else on it. Not necessarily the best looking car out there, but it's GREAT for a starter, or for someone looking for a dependable car."
"My mother got this car about 7 yrs ago and paid $3500 ive had it now for 2 yrs i have to say i have drove this car thru just about anything u could, including corn fields river banks ect. i have worked in alot of demanding places and it always got me there if something failed 99% of the time it was cheap and fast work this car has been great it now has 230,000 mi. on it and still running strong no tranny replacement or anything over all its good on gas, comfy, can haul a small famliy, the 3.3L engine has the power to pull the car plus other things and best of all it was built to last and when it does break its cheap recommend it again again and again"
