About Chrysler Sebring

Looking for an affordable drop-top that allows you to both comfortably seat four adults and fit their luggage in the trunk? In an era of shrinking cars, you can still find such a vehicle in the 2010 Chrysler Sebring Convertible. While other convertibles like the Ford Mustang or the Volkswagen Eos may offer a sportier driving experience and are more refined inside, the Sebring has plenty of charm on its own, and offers options you won't see anywhere else - like heated and cooled cup holders to keep drinks at the ideal temperature.

For 2010, the Chrysler Sebring Convertible gets a smoother hood design and a new instrument gauge cluster. Front seat active head restraints have also been added to the car's list of safety features.

Dark Slate Grey interior color and a new acoustic insulation package mark the major changes for the 2009 Sebring. All models receive luxury floor mats, an air filtration system, four-wheel anti-lock brakes (ABS) and sunglass holder, while Touring and Limited trims receive more standard equipment.

The all-new 2008 Chrysler Sebring convertible is wider, longer, and sleeker than ever, but what really takes the cake is the optional hard top, which can drop at the touch of a button on the key fob. Underneath the Sebring's hood are three expanded engine choices: a fuel-sipping 2.4-liter four-cylinder, a Flex-Fuel 2.7-liter V6 and a 3.5-liter V6.

With interesting features like the hard drive-based MyGIG infotainment center, rear-seat DVD system and heated/cooled cupholder, the Sebring raises the bar on the level of in-cabin features we can expect in a mid-size sedan.

"Liked design of body, Interior looks nice. Plastic parts inside outgas Chlorine gas causing sinus problems and eye irratation. 4 cyl. engine OK- not Great. MPG 36 Highway which is Very Good. Sadly disappointed not to be comfortable in side of car. I still like how it looks. But, I have to sell it and move on. This was to be my last car. I wanted it to be special. Voted last/worst of 44 mid size sedans in '07. This was developed and built when Daimler owned Chrysler and it is more like a Mercedes. Harsh ride and all."

"I HAD THE FOUR CYLINDER MODEL PRIOR TO THE TOURING AND PERSONALLY CRASH TESTED IT AND SURVIVED. IT WAS NOT MY FAULT. I WENT UP A CURB KNOCKED OUT AN ELECTRIC SCHOOL CROSSING SIGN, THEN A FIRE HYDRANT, AND SMASHED INTO A DIRT EMBANKMENT, THE DESIGN IS IMPECCABLE!"

"I HAVE HAD MY 2007 CHRYSLER SEBRING SINCE MARCH OF 2008 AND IT HAS BEEN AN ABSOLUTE JOY IN EVERY WAY I GOT THE FOUR DOOR BASE SEDAN AND EVEN THE BASE MODEL EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. WE HAVE HAD 3 CHRYSLER VEHICLES INCLUDING THIS ONE., MY LAST CAR WAS A 1994 CHRYSLER LEBARON CONVERTIBLE AND I LOVED IT TILL I WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT (MY FAULT). GOOD JOB CHRYSLER YOU PROVED YOU CAN PRODUCE GOOD QUALITY VEHICLES AND THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE NEGATIVE EXPIRENCES SORRY TO SAY YOU GOT THE LEMONS IT HAPPENS IN THIS INDUSTRY."
