"I have had this car for quite some time and all I want to do is get rid of it. Since our purchase in 2005, we have had to have work done on the transmission, the rear seat does not fold up and we have no idea what's wrong with it, the transmission slips constantly causing the car to violently jolt whenever I accelerate after being stopped, the paint flakes, everything in the interior breaks, the MANUAL sliding door is broken and takes all muscle capability, and the power locks are broken. The safety features are atrocious and almost nonexistent on this and I don't trust it to save my life in a crash. I am very dissatisfied with the 2006 Uplander and I want it to finally die soon."
Pros: "seats 7 or hauls lots of stuff - easy to see out"
Cons: "Cruise control works but needs to be "played with""

"Never had any problems with this car. Love the way it sits and rides. I drive over 800 miles every time I see my children and they think I should have something with less mileage so they don't worry about a breakdown when I'm that far away from anyone that could help."
"This car was great with 2 teenagers in bucket seats. It is big enough to cart all their stuff. On family vacations and moving to and from colleges it was comfortable and economic getting 23 miles per gallon. We had tv and good radio as well as great A/C and heat front and rear. The 2 sliding elec doors doors still work like new and the seats are great. My wife carts clients around in comfort as she sells real estate along with all her signs and point of sale material. We have been very happy with this car and it fit our family well for the past 8 years. We have done regular service and we feel we got a lot of bang for the buck."
"Even with the manufacturer's problem with the ABS sensors, this van was great. We tooled around with our four kids as teens and had some great memories with it. Great for larger families on vacation."
