About Chevrolet Camaro

The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro transcends its muscle-car roots, becoming something altogether new: a sports coupe so sophisticated you'd think it was born in Europe. That's because this is basically the Chevrolet version of the Cadillac ATS, a car that happens to be one of the best-driving cars GM has ever made. This newfound maturity is fitting, as this year marks the Chevy Camaro's 50th anniversary. Along with the word "Fifty" plastered on every model, Chevrolet is introducing two new high-performance models: the Camaro 1LE for the track-day enthusiast, and the 650-horsepower Camaro ZL1 aimed at those for whom too much is never enough. Whether you choose the 4-cylinder turbo, V6, V8, coupe or convertible, the 2017 Chevy Camaro gives the Ford Mustang night sweats.

Aside from the hoopla surrounding the Camaro's 50th anniversary -- look for "Fifty" badges everywhere -- two models join the lineup. First is the Camaro 1LE, a track-ready package that pares the car down to its essentials. The Camaro ZL1, with its 650-horsepower V8, is for the purely power-hungry.

"I have owned 4 Mustangs and 3 other Camaros including a Z28. This car is the most fun, best road handling, Technically advanced car I have ever owned The outward visibility is better than my wife's 2015 Buick and also enhanced with the accident avoidance system and rear view back up Camera. Workmanship is awesome, paint was excellent, no rattles, no flaws. I got the magnetic ride control which is also very awesome and handy for those sharp turns a high speeds. VERY nimble on the road. With the Dual tone exhaust I can get quite or rowdy with the ehaust with a flip of a switch. Apple link is a great feature. Loving this car! 22 MPG average city/highway so far and I drive aggressive"

Pros: "Everything is great about the Camaro"

Cons: "None I can think of"

"I've read a lot about the latest Generation Camaro. I've also viewed Road Test reviews of Camaro's going up against Mustangs on youtube. I currently own a 2012 V6 Mustang 6 speed manual. It's a fun car, and I have the Mustang of America package on it and the car gets a lot of looks and compliments. It's also very quick 0-60 in 5.1 seconds !!!!! for anyone out there that says that these retro cars like Mustang and Camaro are slow? you're full of it!!!!! it's the driver that is driving them slow, it's NOT the car that is slow !!!!! Love the Camaro, love the Mustang. My next choice just might be a blue 2016 Camaro Convertible V6 manual, that's all you really need is a V6 these days for power the way technology has changed.....plus American cars are now built better with better gas mileage to boot."
