About Chevrolet Aveo

The 2011 Chevrolet Aveo, a smartly styled subcompact, offers excellent fuel economy, a long list of standard features and a bargain-basement price. The Aveo's appeal extends to budget-conscious first-time buyers, anyone on a limited income and unhappy SUV owners looking for an affordable and fuel-efficient way of getting to and from the office. Available as a sedan or sporty five-door hatchback, the Aveo's uncommonly high roof means tall occupants can sit comfortably in both front and rear, a major bonus for those who might stay clear of some small cars due to their cramped interiors. An all-new Aveo is slated for arrival in 2012, meaning come year's end you might be able to make an excellent deal on a remaining 2011 model.

"I bought this car when I was 16 back in 2013. It has nearly killed me 3 times. The only issue is I cant afford to buy the car I want right now so I am waiting until that happens. Until then, this piece of junk will sit in the street. My first issue with this vehicle: the engine lacks any power whatsoever, it takes me about 5 minutes just to get on the highway and Ill have a line of about 5 people behind me honking bc of my little engine that could (not). The transmission is also horrible. To get any power you have to floor the pedal, itll jump to 4000 rpm then go down to 2000 rpm and it will not move from there, no matter how long or hard you have the pedal down. It especially drives horrible in the summer time. The car has also started swerving a little at +50mph, like the car is being pushed by wind on a windless day. The brakes have gone out on it twice while driving in which Ive had to drive onto grass o the side of the street to avoid killing anyone including myself. The car also shuts off when accelerate into a turn on occasion, its embarrassing to say the least. I paid 8000 for this car from Hertz auto sales. Never again will I be buying from a rental car company. Thank God my loan has been paid off."

"Like I said I went from a surburban to this and it was a big change but in the end it was worth every penny. I was carring everything I didn't need in the other one and not needing anything else other than what this one could carry. The Gas alone was a WOW. Went from paying $ 120.00 per tank full to $29.00 per tank full. The first fill up I thought the pump was not working untill I looked in at the dash and said OOhh yea. I love this one. Still going from 250hp to 108hp was a little not sure but, who needs to blast off all the time. The 108hp does get up and go when needed and is able to keep up with all kinds of driving habits. I love the way it parks almost anywhere and blends in with all the high end cars. I am also handycaped so getting into and out of the car is also a breeze with a very large opening drivers door. This car is all that I need and more. Wish I bought one years ago and would have saved, I mean saved, alot of money on gas. Very happy with it."

"This car has been great in good weather but on ice and snow it doesn't feel very stable. Needs some weight in the back. Get great gas mileage, Very roomy. Fun to drive around. People stop me to ask about this car. Improves my social life:)"
