Photos and Videos: Ferrari F430 BioFuel Spider Concept

By KBB.com Editors
Summary: When it comes to fuel economy and emission performance the first name you think of isn't Ferrari. Building on its experience of using Formula One racing fuel that contains a little more the five percent methanol, Ferrari has modified an F430 Spider to run on E85. The experimental Flex-Fuel Ferrari can operate on conventional gasoline, E85, or any combination thereof. Because of the re-tuning, the Flex-Fuel F430 actually offers 10 additional horsepower, while emissions are down five percent.
