Volkswagen to Offer No-charge Maintenance on All 2009 Models

Some people are willing to pay a little more for the European driving dynamics and premium-like interiors that typically distinguish a Volkswagen from its competitors. In an effort to attract more of those who aren't, Volkswagen is stealing a page from the luxury automakers' handbook and will offer no-charge maintenance on its entire 2009 lineup. The Carefree Maintenance Program will cover all scheduled service for the length of the automaker's three-year, 36,000-mile warranty (three visits, in most cases), and will include the forthcoming Tiguan compact crossover, Chrysler-based Routan minivan and CC four-door coupe.
