Rising gas prices and a weak dollar have prompted Toyota to adjust their manufacturing plans, and starting in 2010 the Japanese manufacturer will begin building its iconic Prius hybrid in America. The shuffle will also include the consolidation of Sequoia SUV and Tundra pickup assembly at Toyota's San Antonio, Texas, facility. What does any of it mean to you? Presumably, increased Prius availability, for one. If you've purchased or have looked to purchase a Prius in the past few months, you can appreciate the promise of added supply.
