Suzuki Puts $100 on the Line in 'Kizashi Test Drive Challenge'

Confident that its new premium sport sedan has what it takes to go head to head against two well-established upscale rivals, Suzuki has launched a national promotion aimed at getting potential customers to spend time behind the wheel of a 2010 Kizashi before test driving either an Acura TSX four-cylinder or an Audi A4 2.0T. In return for adding it to their must-drive list and filling out a Kizashi Test Drive Challenge registration form, Suzuki will issue a $100 check or stored-value debit card to anyone who still decides to buy either of those two competitors within 10 days of taking the challenge. While a bold offer on its face, Suzuki feels confident the Kizashi's roughly $6,800-$7,900 price advantage when comparably equipped will be enough to tip the balance in its favor with most buyers. Koichi Suzuki, executive vice president of American Suzuki Automotive Operations, contends matching that far lower sticker with the Kizashi's combination of style, performance, luxury features and new advanced All-Wheel-Drive system will make this a very cost-effective bet.
