VW's coolest sedan gets a bit more profile for the new year with the arrival of the 2013 Volkswagen CC 2.0T R-Line that will soon join the 2.0T Sport, Sport Plus and Lux models as well as the VR6 4Motion Executive in U.S. showrooms. Key exterior enhancements to VW's fetching front-drive 4-door "coupe" include a bolder R-Line front bumper plus side sill extensions and grille badging along with 18-inch "Mallory" aluminum-alloy wheels wrapped in 235/40 all-season tires. Inside, the CC R-line features an RNS 315 navigation system and stainless steel R-Line scuff plates. On models that back the 200-horsepower turbo four with the optional 7-speed DSG automated manual gearbox, the multifunction steering wheel also features shifter paddles.

Pricing for the new 2013 Volkswagen CC R-Line starts at $33,020, with the DSG transmission adding $1,100 to the bottom line. The cars will begin arriving at VW dealerships across the country at the end of the year.
