Broadening the scope of its popular Blacktop Edition vehicles to reach buyers who need even more utility and passenger space, Dodge will add a trio of SUV/van-based entries to the mix during the course of the next six months. "Our Blacktop packages have been so well received on Charger, Challenger and Avenger that we're expanding it to our innovative Grand Caravan, Journey and Durango," said Reid Bigland, President and CEO - Dodge Brand. "All three of these Blacktop vehicles offer class-leading attributes with seating for up to seven and a customized one-of-a-kind appearance starting at just $295 MSRP." The Durango Blacktop will go on sale sometime in the first quarter with its Grand Caravan and Journey stablemates due to arrive in showrooms at some point during Q2.

2013 Dodge Durango Blacktop
Available on Rallye and R/T models, the 2013 Dodge Durango Blacktop kit costs $295 and brings a Gloss Black crosshair grille and Gloss Black 20-inch aluminum wheels with Gloss Black center caps along with the choice of Bright White, Brilliant Black, Granite Crystal, Billet Silver and Redline Red exterior colors. For an additional $595, buyers can upgrade the interior trim on a Durango Rallye Blacktop to full R/T spec which adds premium Digital Suede seat inserts Capri bolsters and red accent stitching, Black Comodo Elm trim and a 12-way power driver's seat.

2013 Dodge Grand Caravan Blacktop
Exclusively offered on the SXT trim grade, the 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan Blacktop package runs $595 and also nets both exterior and interior enhancements. Available in Billet Silver, Brilliant Black, Maximum Steel, Redline and Stone White, Blacktop variants of this versatile minivan add a Gloss Black grille, black headlamp bezels (late availability), fog lamps and 17-inch polished aluminum wheels with Gloss Black pockets. Inside the Grand Caravan Blacktop kit features a noir-themed look that complements its black cloth upholstery with silver accent stitching and black leather trim on the steering wheel and shifter knob.

2013 Dodge Journey Blacktop
Although confined to the SXT trim grade, the 2013 Dodge Journey Blacktop package can be fitted to models with either a 4-cylinder or V6 engine, seating for five or seven, and front or all-wheel-drive configurations. In addition to the choice of Bright Silver, Bright Red, Brilliant Black, Brilliant Red Tri-Coat, White, Pearl White Tri-Coat and Storm Grey exterior colors, exterior enhancements in the $995 Journey Blacktop package include a Gloss Black grille, Gloss Black bezel headlamps, lower front fascia accents and exterior mirrors along 19-inch Gloss Black aluminum wheels and center caps. Inside, the Journey Blacktop also boasts an 8.4-inch Uconnect touch screen and the premium black cloth seats can be upgraded to optional black leather heated units that also bring a heated steering wheel.
