Recent Drives: Isuzu i-290 and i-370

We recently spent back-to-back weeks in two Chevy Colorado-based Isuzu pickups; the i-290 Extended Cab and the i-370 Crew Cab. Our base-equipped i-290 combined fading features like roll-'em-up windows and manual locks with more modern conveniences like auto-on/off headlights and MP3-CD compatibility. In addition to power windows and leather seating, our comparatively luxurious i-370 tester featured a more powerful five-cylinder engine and four full doors. With residual values similar to those of its Colorado counterpart, and certain warranty advantages, an Isuzu pickup can prove a smarter buy for some.
