Recent Drive: 2008 Lincoln Navigator L

By Editors on January 30, 2008 1:32 PM
For our days-long field trip to the Detroit Auto Show we enlisted the help of the cavernous, comfortable and extra-long Lincoln Navigator L. The Gator's vast, flexible interior easily accommodated the Kelley Blue Book video crew and their accompanying luggage, cameras, tripods, lights and laptops. Its heated seats, cushy interior and traction-enhancing four-wheel drive let us survey the nice parts of a snowy Detroit in style, and the other parts in detached, worry-free comfort. The Michigan-built Navigator L seemed the perfect vantage point to view the history, decay and promise of the Motor City.
