About the same time that Detroit will play host to the 2011 North American International Auto Show, halfway around the world, Japanese motoring enthusiasts will be attending the Tokyo Auto Salon 2011 to have a look at the latest in performance and aftermarket components. Nissan, which plans a major presence at the event, will bring no fewer than nine different vehicles to the gathering -- including this one-off, the LEAF Aero Style Concept. While its full body kit and wind-cheating wheels were created to to accentuate the base LEAF's charater lines, Nissan released no other details about the the car, save for its intent to "express an image of futuristic sport EV driving."

Among the other vehicles Nissan will present are a Juke Sporty Package fitted with an assortment of exterior accessory bits and new 17-inch alloy wheels that will likely find their way to America as well as the Nissan NISMO GT-R RC. An even-hotter version of its all-wheel drive supercoupe, the purpose-built RC is intended to be a dedicated track-day vehicle for a limited group of well-heeled enthusiasts.
