New OnStar Services Make It Even Harder to Get Lost

The biggest advantage of GM's Turn-by-Turn Navigation system is that you simply press a button, tell an OnStar adviser where you want to go and the directions are sent to your car -- no typing needed. Beginning on 2009 models, that same convenience will be offered in GM vehicles with the more familiar screen-based navigation systems. GM has also announced a service that will allow drivers to send destination information straight from their PC to their vehicle's navigation system using MapQuest.com. Anything that gets us to the next caffeine station more quickly and efficiently is okay with us.
