New Kia Cadenza gets complimentary maintenance program
Seeking to bolster both the image and desirability of its new full-size flagship sedan, Kia has announced that the 2014 Cadenza will come with a complimentary scheduled maintenance program that covers the first five factory-service appointments and will be applicable for 36 months or up to 37,500 miles.
Under terms of the enhanced Kia program, this free scheduled maintenance will be extended to customers who either purchase or lease a new 2014 Cadenza and have all requisite maintenance work on their vehicles performed at a participating Kia dealer. While it supplements Kia's existing warranty program, the Cadenza's complimentary scheduled maintenance does not include wear and tear items such as tires, brakes and windshield wiper blades.

Positioned to fill what the automaker sees as a rapidly emerging niche between mainstream and luxury, the 2014 Cadenza opens at $35,900. That price already includes a mega-load of standards on this premium sedan ranging from a 293-horsepower V6, leather upholstery and a navigation system to a 550-watt Infinity premium audio package, SiriusXM Satellite Radio/Traffic and Kia's UVO eServices. However, beyond its high-value hardware proposition, John Crowe, KMA's vice president of service and after-sale operations, sees the new Cadenza as being a compelling alternative for buyers who expect even more from their ownership experience. "Our complimentary scheduled maintenance program - a benefit many would not have previously associated with the Kia brand - fulfills those expectations."
