Mopar '14 Challenger debuts at SEMA
The latest limited edition from Chrysler Group's performance division, the Mopar '14 Challenger puts an exclusive exclamation point on the new 2014 Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker. To be built in a run of just 100 units, the fifth and latest in the annual series of Mopar-spec performance vehicles will be available in Bright White or Gloss Black and feature a standard "Shaker-style" Mopar Blue main stripe while offering the choice of two other optional stripe accents. Rounding out the Mopar '14 Challenger's unique exterior recasting is a Satin Black Shaker scoop that feeds cool air to its 5.7-liter Hemi V8, a Black Vapor grille surround, Black fuel-filler door, Gloss Black decklid spoiler and new 20-inch Gloss Black alloy wheels with Mopar Center caps plus a selection of Mopar indicia.
The custom look carries over to the cabin of this high-profile Challenger, which is rendered in Dark Slate. Aggressively bolstered front sport buckets are wrapped in premium black Nappa leather set off with blue accent stitching and Mopar Omega M logos on the seatbacks, while a leather-wrapped steering wheel, pistol grip shifter and a Mopar serialized instrument panel plaque round out the mix.

Beyond the basics, Mopar '14 Challenger buyers also will be able to upgrade their vehicles with a wide selection of Mopar Custom Shop accessory items that range from a performance suspension and cat-back exhaust to a sequential taillight kit and an Electronic Vehicle Tracking System. Following a tradition set by its predecessors, each Mopar '14 Challenger also will come with a selection of unique goodies highlighted by a custom Monroney label, "Mopar" branded key fobs and an owner's kit that contains a selection of Mopar '14 memorabilia, including some emblazoned with the serial number of the individual vehicle. The Mopar '14 Challenger will be rolling into showrooms during the second quarter of 2014 and pricing will be announced closer to its on-sale date.
