MINI to Build Limited-Production Rally Edition Clubman S for U.S.

While we're still awaiting imminent confirmation on the two new concept vehicles it plans to show in Frankfurt, MINI has released some information on a special Rally Edition Clubman S model that's set to go on sale here later this year. At present, the automaker anticipates holding volume on this semi-sinister hauler to only one example for each of its current 86 dealers, but admits that a few more might make it over as part of the program. From what we've been able to glean, the Rally Edition Clubman S model will be finished in Midnight Black and have Rally Green mirror caps and side scuttles, roof rails, silver racing stripes, xenon HID headlamps, clear turn indicators, the Sport Package and unique 17-inch wheels fitted with either performance or all-season tires. Inside, expect to see piano-black trim, a multifunction sport steering wheel, auto climate control and Bluetooth. The Rally Edition Clubman S will reportedly retail for $32,999 and dealers will offer several other accessory upgrades, including the John Cooper Works Aero Kit as well as the JCW Tuning Kit.
