MINI Report 10: Drought-friendly Transportation

In continually drought-stricken Southern California, it's not uncommon to hear radio spots for water parks followed by state-sponsored ads imploring us to be "water wise." It's another reason to feel good about our tiny MINI Cooper S, which requires less water to keep clean than virtually every other four-seater on the road. While the potential water savings probably aren't realized by our local car wash -- which presumably uses as much water to wash a MINI as it does a Suburban, and recycles that water for the next vehicle -- our MINI's one driveway hand wash must have saved as much as a gallon or two of the life-giving wet stuff. We're just doing our part.
