The trickiest part about constantly hopping in and out of different manual transmission-equipped cars, each with their own clutch and accelerator pedal characteristics, is trying to drive them smoothly right out of the gate. Turbocharged cars, with their unique lag and boost profiles, have historically proven especially challenging to master. Our turbocharged MINI Cooper S, though, features a forgiving pedal setup that makes it easy to pull from a stop and run through the gears smoothly, every time.
