Long-term BMW 335d: The Long Haul to Vegas and Back

By Editors on June 3, 2009 12:46 PM
When driving from Southern California to Las Vegas, we tend to ask a lot of our car. Can it swiftly slice through the lengthy stretches of desert wasteland? Will it comfortably fit our friends, all of our stuff, and still be fuel efficient? Sure, we're needy, but our needs were more than met by our long-term BMW 335d. It's roomy enough for more than two people and has adequate cargo room for our accompanying luggage, but the best part of the 335d is that it sips fuel on the highway -- we were able to get 33 mpg thanks to its smooth, odorless diesel engine. Our trip to Vegas and back took just one tank of diesel, which made stopping at the service station for our road trip beef jerky more than just a little silly.
