Offering dramatic proof that the 2011 Lexus CT 200h is a prime candidate for a serious case of attitude adjustment, the Lexus Five Axis Project CT made its debut in Chicago. Doing its part to help support the automaker's "Darker Side of Green" ad campaign that posits driving a hybrid can be decidedly cool, the Lexus Five Axis Project CT gets a full body kit and boasts wider rear fenders, all finished in color-shifting JDSU "Dark Passage" paint highlighted with black accents. A TEIN Flex coilover suspension system drops the ride height and raises the Project CT's cornering prowess. Completing the dynamic transformation, Project CT sports a set of superlight, custom-designed 19-inch FIVE:AD forged alloy wheels while Stoptech High Performance front brakes upgrade its stopping power. Inside, the Lexus Five Axis Project CT sports a custom EcoDesign interior trim that features "CTh" logos etched into Ultrasuede inserts on the seats and door panels. This maxi makeover also netted the Lexus Five Axis Project CT an interactive center console display with full iPod-like functionality.
