KTM E3W Concept --- Frankfurt Auto Show

Better known for its radical X-Bow, a high-performance street-legal demi-race car, KTM PowerSports launches its latest exercise in well-focused minimalism at Frankfurt. The KTM E3W (Electric 3 Wheeler) Concept was created in concert with the Austrian Institute of Technology to serve as a commuter friendly, ultra-green alternative for people living in high-density urban environments. The petite two-passenger three-wheeler is constructed entirely of plastic to help keep its weight to just 1,102 pounds and features swing-up "swan wing" style doors to ease access/egress in tight city confines. Fitted with a 20-horsepower electric motor fed by a lithium-ion battery pack, the KTM E3W can reportedly travel about 62 miles on a single charge.
