Although its maker has yet to offer any details about this more practical interpretation of the stylish mid-size XF sedan, the upcoming Jaguar XF Sportbrake wagon did appear in a Christmas card posted on its dedicated Twitter site wearing only a light disguise. While Santa's not-so-little helper is highly unlikely to ever see the inside of a U.S. showroom, Jaguar plans to launch the new XF Sportbrake in Europe sometime within the next nine months as a potential rival for high-end haulers like the Audi A6 Avant and wagon versions of the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Rumors continue to circulate that it could also spawn a high-performance XFR variant. While a formal debut seems most likely in March at the Geneva Auto Show, for the moment, the only thing we know for sure is that: "All will be revealed in the New Year."
