The
Ford F-150 is the best-selling vehicle in America and the
Dodge
Ram is among the top 10. So when the latest versions of both
pickups made their world debuts within an hour of each other at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show, quick comparisons were obligatory. In regards to styling, we'll give our initial nods to the Ram for the sheetmetal and to the F-150 for the interior. The contest gets cloudier beyond that, with both
trucks offering a number of neat new features. We like the Ford's retractable side step, for instance, as well as the Ram's bed-integrated storage bins. We'll surely have a favorite after our first drives.
