Set to check in at dealers across the country by month's end, the 2011 Scion xB benefits from a modest but meaningful revamping that adds a bit more edge to its appearance and a measure of additional comfort and convenience touches to its spacious interior.

While its basic sheetmetal carries, the xB's soft fascias have been restyled. The most noticeable change is seen up front, where a new honeycomb grille insert fills a slimmer upper opening and a more expansive lower air intake. These are flanked by taller outboard vents that give the xB an even wider visual stance. More crisply styled front and rear lamp treatments complete the new look, which can be finished in two new colors: Army Rock Metallic and Elusive Blue Metallic.

Inside, the 2011 Scion xB's front buckets benefit from larger and more supportive bolstering and all five seating locations are trimmed in a new two-tone light-gray and black fabric. The steering column now tilts and telescopes while the gauge cluster has been redesigned with a black background and gets individual clock and outside air temp displays. As a finishing touch, its more user-friendly center console comes with an adjustable sliding armrest.
