Features We're Thankful For #5
Around View Monitor
Sometimes, the only parking space remaining is a tight one. That's when I'm especially thankful for - or wish I was driving a vehicle that had - a 360-degree, bird's-eye camera system like that pioneered on the Infiniti EX35. With cameras on the grille, side mirrors and rear, you can easily see how close you are to everything. While this view can be quite useful when the car is in reverse, I am a real fan of using it when pulling into a parking spot. I can see exactly where the car is in relationship to everything around it, so I can avoid both dinged doors and being the jerk that parks like a two-year-old on a sugar high.
Car that Comes to Mind: 2010 Infiniti FX
Why: Let's face it: if you drive a car as big and bold as the FX, an appalling parking job will get even more attention. - Leigh Anne Sessions
