Concept: Mazda Furai

The fifth vehicle in a series of concept cars inspired by the elements, the Mazda Furai is also the most operational of the group. Underneath the unique styling, the Furai is a functioning race car featuring a Courage C65 chassis and an ethanol-fueled, 458-horsepower three-rotor engine. Unlike some concept cars, the Furai isn't meant to insinuate a production car of the future -- or even a race car -- but it does combine a glimpse of Mazda's design direction with a serious dose of Zoom-Zoom.
