Mixing luxury with practicality.

Chrysler's Pacifica, which replaced the aging Town & Country, is a recent Minivan Best Buy winner and a two-time choice as one of our 12 Best Family Cars. The Pacifica has a fresh new look and a quiet, upscale interior that rivals those found in the Toyota Sienna and Honda Odyssey. While the Pacifica boasts an easy-to-reconfigure interior thanks to Stow ‘n Go hide-in-the-floor seats, and best-in-class fuel economy, its real claim to fame is its wide array of high-tech features. Also, the Chrysler Pacifica offers handy options like a vacuum cleaner, Uconnect Theater and a first-in-its-class hybrid option. While there are plenty of near-luxury options available for the new minivan, you can get a nicely equipped Pacifica at a price that's comparable to the Sienna, Odyssey and Kia Sedona. In fact, with the introduction of a new L trim level, the base price of the Pacifica has been reduced for 2018.

Driving It

"On the open road, the Pacifica’s handling isn’t sporty, but it is competent, with a very comfortable ride, firm steering and excellent brakes. In sharp curves, the Pacifica will lean a bit, but not so much that it feels like a Slinky creeping down a set of stairs. The interior is remarkably quiet, not only devoid of excessive road and wind noise, but those annoying squeaks and rattles that often accompany minivan interiors."
