Chinese Cars, From Ming to Mo-town

Chinese auto manufacturers are making their first, tentative steps toward entering the American market, and, like toddlers, those steps sometimes involve a tumble or two. Based on what we saw at the 2008 North American International Auto Show the Chinese offerings are not quite ready for primetime, except perhaps in "America's Funniest Home Videos." It 's clear Chinese car makers have their work cut out for them. Yet those who underestimate the potential of Chinese cars in the U.S. do so at their peril. In this video we give a brief overview of the Chinese vehicles on display in Detroit.
