Set for its first public appearance at the Geneva Auto Show, the 2017 Jaguar F-Type SVR will go on sale here this summer. Although full tech details are still under wraps, we know the hottest F-Type family member will be available in both Coupes and Convertibles and was designed to exploit the potential that lies within this already impressive two-seat performance machine. Motivation is expected to come from a more potent version of the 5.0-liter supercharged V8 from the F-Type R AWD model with output sufficiently cranked up to give the SVR a 200 mph top speed. It also will be fitted with a new titanium exhaust system that puts a sharper focus on its distinctive sound.

“The new F-Type SVR is the first series-production Jaguar car to be developed by Special Vehicle Operations and benefits from everything we know about precision engineering, performance and design,” noted John Edwards, Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations. “The result is a 200-mph, all-weather supercar that you can drive every day.”
